Assign unidentified driving time to your driver logs

Updated over a month ago

EROAD Drive records all driving time. Regulations require that all ELD driving events be assigned to a driver. EROAD Drive generates unidentified driving records when a vehicle is driven without a signed-in driver. The following notification cards are associated with unidentified driving:

  • Unidentified Driving: A prompt to pull over and sign in to EROAD Drive.

  • Unidentified Driver: Unidentified driver records were generated for the vehicle since your last log on. This notification remains on the Dashboard until all records are resolved.

  • Unidentified Driver Diagnostic: EROAD Drive has recorded more than 30 minutes of unidentified driving time within the last seven (U.S.) or 14 (Canada) days. This notification remains on the dashboard until all unidentified driving events are resolved, or seven or 14 days have elapsed.

Since unidentified driving records accrue for a vehicle, the records could pertain to any driver who drives the vehicle.
