Monitor driver logs and propose edits to drivers

Updated over a week ago

For details about working with drivers' logs from within EROAD 360, see the EROAD Drive Administrator's Manual.

If a change you make alters the driver’s RODS, the driver will see a Proposed Edit notification card in EROAD Drive prompting them to accept or reject the edit. They must accept or reject proposed edits.

Editing logs includes:

  • Adjusting the start or end time of an event.

  • Changing the duty status, such as when a driver forgets to go on or off duty.

  • Adding a co-driver.

  • Adding remarks.

  • Updating locations, shipping numbers, and other information.

To edit a driver's log:

1. On the 360 main menu, select Drivers > Driver Logs, and then double click on the log you want to adjust.

2. On the Drive Log View/Edit screen, double click on the applicable event.

A panel opens from the right where you can change the time, status, and additional information. In addition, orange slider bars display on the log graph.

EROAD Drive prompts drivers to assign themselves vehicles and specify locations, so those required fields should be completed already.

3. As needed, enter a new start time in the From field.

Note: You cannot select times that will alter a Driving status time. Core 360 prompts you try again with a message that your change will change the recorded driving time.

4. As needed, in the Status dropdown, choose a new status.

The Status dropdown presents you with the valid statuses you can choose. Your organization may have customized statuses, such as Break. These automatically map to the applicable ELD status. For Break, this would be Off Duty.

5. Enter additional information in any of the optional fields.

6. (Required) In the Annotation field, enter an explanation for the edit.

7. Select Save.
