Annotate log entries that may be unclear or unusual

Updated over a month ago

Use remarks to explain log entries that may be unclear or unusual. They appear on your logs, and they are visible to your carrier in the back office and to officials during roadside inspections.

There are two ways to add a remark to a log, depending on whether it is for the current day or a previous day.

To add a remark to the current day’s log:

1. On the Dashboard, tap Logs > Remarks.

2. In the Annotation Comment field, enter a remark between 4 and 60 characters long, and then tap OK.

The remark will appear in the driver log for your current ELD event. For example, if you were driving and stopped to fuel and are now, therefore, in On Duty mode, the remark will be associated with this On Duty event.

To add a remark to a previous day’s log:

1. On the Dashboard, tap Logs > View Logs.

2. Navigate to the log of interest, and then tap Edit.

3. Tap the pencil icon next to the event that needs a remark.

4. In the Annotation field, enter a remark between 4 and 60 characters long, and then tap Save.
