Access the Replay video portal, play and download videos, search and sort videos

Updated over a month ago

EROAD 360's Replay video portal enables you to search, review, manage, request, and restrict videos that Clarity Edge securely transmits from the road. Reviewing video footage on a regular basis helps you ensure driver safety, fleet health, and dashcam performance.

Access the Replay Portal

On the main menu, select Replay. The Replay page displays. The default view shows all videos for the current week.

"Not logged in" indicates that a driver was not logged in to EROAD Drive when the video was recorded.

You can see video clips for:

  • AI events: AI-observed events that could indicate driver distraction (Driver AI), road risks (Road AI), and fatigue (Fatigue AI – fatigue camera only). Automatically uploaded and labeled "AI event."

  • Harsh events: Events triggered by sharp braking, acceleration, and cornering. Automatically uploaded and labeled "Harsh event."

  • Driver-initiated events: Video uploads manually triggered by drivers. These clips are labeled "Manual trigger."

  • Requested events: Video uploads requested by administrators for particular times, locations, and drivers. These clips are labeled "Requested video."

Play Videos

1. On the Replay page, select the row for a video clip you want to view.

A video details page displays.

2. On the video details page, tap the video image to start and stop the video.

If the vehicle’s dashcam operates in dual-camera mode, at the top of the video image you will see options for viewing Dual, Road facing, and Driver facing footage. By default, the road- and driver-facing videos play side to side, simultaneously.

Use the controls at the bottom of the video screen to pause, fast forward, rewind, and change the volume.

Download Videos

On a video details page, under the Speed chart, select Download video to store a copy of the video as an .mp4 file that you can play on your local device. If the dashcam has dual cameras activated, you can download either or both videos. Downloading a video does not download its tags or notes. You can find the downloaded video in the Downloads folder on your local machine.

Search and Sort Videos

On the Replay page, search and sort videos by any combination of date range, event type, vehicle, driver, group (fleet), tags, and video status. The results display only video clips that meet your criteria within the timeframe shown at the top of the page.

For example, the Event types dropdown appears as shown below. You could search for manually triggered videos (Manual trigger) from a particular driver (Drivers dropdown) with the status To be coached (Status dropdown).

Select Reset to return to the default non-filtered state.

Tip: On the Replay page, select Export to send a spreadsheet listing of your sorted videos to your local device.

To further filter the list, select the calendar icon next to the dates. Select the start and end dates or use the preset buttons.
