Add a Driver

Use Driver Manager to add drivers to 360 and create driver profiles

Updated this week

Driver Management permissions required.

To add a driver:

1. On the 360 main menu, select Drivers > Driver Manager.

2. Select Add Driver.

The Add Driver window displays with the General tab selected.

3. In the General tab, at minimum, enter the required information as indicated by asterisks.

4. Select the Settings tab, and enter the required information as indicated by asterisks.

If your organization is configured for EROAD Drive, this screen configures drivers to use EROAD Drive.

  • Division (or Division plus Terminal) defines which vehicles the driver can see and choose on the Drive ELD device.

  • 360 Username and password provide the driver with access to the Driver Portal. Set Password becomes selectable when you enter the username.

  • Primary Rule set is the driver's default ruleset.

5. Ensure that Driver Hours Enabled is checked. As required for your company, also check Vehicle Inspections Enabled so drivers can perform DVIRs on their mobile devices.

5. (Optional) Select the Driver Group tab, and add the driver to a driver group by selecting and dragging the name of the group from the Available Groups list to the Assigned Groups list.

6. Select Save.

You have added a driver and created the driver's profile. The driver appears in the driver management list.

As needed, use the Edit Driver option to create an alert plan for the driver. See Edit driver profiles.
