Vehicles can be added, edited or removed from within the Vehicle Manager.

Adding a vehicle

Please note that if your vehicle has a Coretex device installed then Coretex will add the vehicle for you.

  1. Open up Vehicle Manager, under the Vehicles tab
  2. Select Add Vehicle
  3. Enter in any applicable information under the General tab
  4. Press Save

Editing a vehicle

  1. Open up Vehicle Manager, under the Vehicles tab
  2. Double click on your vehicle
  3. Edit any applicable fields
  4. Press Save

Removing Vehicles

There are 2 methods in which you can remove vehicles - deactivate or remove. 

  1. Deactivate will remove them from your tracking screen and main vehicle manager, but will still show in reports. You can also activate it again at any time.
  2. Removing a vehicle permanently deletes the vehicle and all its data from the system. We highly recommend deactivating your vehicles until you are sure you do not need any further data from it.

To Deactivate: 

  1. Open up Vehicle Manager, under the Vehicles tab
  2. Select your vehicle
  3. Press Activate/Deactivate Vehicle
  4. Press Yes on the dialogue box which appears

You can see any deactivated vehicles by changing the vehicle status to Inactive Vehicles.

To Remove:

  1. Open up Vehicle Manager, under the Vehicles tab
  2. Select your vehicle
  3. Press Remove Vehicle
  4. Press Yes on the dialogue box which appears

Vehicle Manager is permission specific, please contact your admin user or Coretex Support if you do not have access to this.
