Save time when sending commonly used messages to drivers and users

Updated over 2 months ago

Quick select messages are pre-defined messages that you can select when communicating with drivers and other 360 users. These messages save you time if you find yourself typing the same messages repeatedly.

Quick messages are stored in profiles that you create. For example, a profile name might be "weather conditions." Think of profiles as folders to help you organize your quick messages.

To create quick select messages:

1. Go to Messaging > General Settings.

2. In the Message Settings window, select Quick Select Messaging.

The System Template message profiles are system generated and locked. You can ignore them. Previously created profiles are listed within the User Defined section.

3. Select New Message Profile.

The Add Message Profile window displays.

4. In the Add Message Profile window, in the Name field, enter a name for this folder of quick messages.

Choose a unique, descriptive name.

5. In the Type dropdown, select User, and then select New Message to Vehicle.

The Quick Select Messaging window displays.

6. In the Name field, enter a name for this quick message, and then in the Description field, enter a description, or purpose, for the message.

7. Under Quick Select Message, enter the quick message exactly as you want it to read.

8. Select Save.

The Add Message Profile window displays again, where you can see the new quick message.

9. Select Save.

The Message Settings window displays again, where you see the new profile you created listed under User Defined. The new quick message will be available for any user in the organization to use.

To add more quick messages to a profile, under User Defined, select the profile, and then select Edit Profile > New Message to Vehicle.
