Log On-Duty Hours of Service When You Are Not Driving

Track HOS even though you are not using vehicle

Updated this week

You can use any EROAD Drive device to log on and track your hours of service (HOS) when you are not driving. For example, you may be on duty and working in the warehouse.
โ€‹
โ€‹To log on-duty HOS when you're not using a vehicle:

1. On a device, log in as On Duty, as described in Sign in, but on the Vehicle / Trailer screen, tap Skip.

EROAD Drive takes you directly to the Dashboard.

2. Log off the device without going off duty to release the device so others can use it.

  • On the Dashboard, tap Sign Out User > Sign Out.

  • On the Uncertified Log(s) prompt, tap Skip.

  • On the Off Duty Confirmation prompt, tap Stay in On Duty.

This allows you to stay on duty and record HOS even though you are not using this device.

3. When you are ready to go off duty at the end of your shift, log in again, and then go off duty and log out as usual. See Sign out.
