EROAD 360 provides highly granular role-based access control so you can manage who can use different areas of the tool and perform certain tasks. When you add a user and edit a user, you can select and change permissions using the Security tab on a user-by-user basis.
β
Create templates to make it easier to assign permissions. For example, you may have dispatchers who require a certain set of permissions and back office supervisors who require different permissions. Each template contains a selection of permissions, and you can assign a template to any user
β
βTo view the available user permissions and create a template:
1. Go to Admin > User Manager.
This assumes you have User Manager permissions.
2. Select General Settings > New Template.
For example, here's what you might see when you expand Driver Management and Driver Manager. Selecting the Driver Management check box enables all permissions beneath it. Selecting Driver Manager selects just the permissions within it.
3. In the Name field, enter a unique name for this template.
4. In the Description field, enter the purpose for this template.
5. Select the permissions for this template.
6. Select Save.
You will see the template as choice when you are adding and editing users.
