Set up service alerts to receive messages about upcoming and overdue services

Updated this week

The Vehicles > Service Manager screen indicates the current service status of your vehicles in the Status column, prioritized as shown below.

  • Red: vehicle service overdue

  • Yellow: vehicle service due soon

  • Green: vehicle service up to date

  • Blue: vehicle not enrolled in a service plan

In addition, you can configure service alerts so that you receive messages about upcoming and overdue services directly to the Message Center or email. Service Management permissions required.

โ€‹To set up service alerts:

  1. On the 360 menu, select Vehicles > Service Manager.

  2. On the service management screen, select General Settings.

  3. In the Service Settings window, select Alerting.

The default General Service Alert Plan sends alerts to the Message Center for all your service plans, and it is always on. However, you may need customized alerting for particular service plans and to also send alerts to service technicians or others.

4. Select Add Alert Plan to create a customized service alert plan. See Set up alerts for details.

You can also generate and schedule service reports. See Generate reports and Schedule a Report.
