There are four types of alerts in 360:
Tracking Page: The Tracking page displays alert events as low, medium, or high priority. In addition, 360 displays a notification card on screen for high priority alerts.
Message Center (Msg C): Sends messages to the Message Center when alert events occur. This option is useful for centralizing your alert notifications in one place.
Email: When alert events occur, sends email messages to recipients you specify.
SMS: To receive SMS alerts, you must set up the appropriate account with an EROAD-supported third-party SMS digital messaging provider. For information, contact EROAD Support.
βTo set up alerts:
1. Go to any of the following:
Vehicles > Manager Module > General Settings > Alerting
Manager module: Fleet Manager, Service Manager, Vehicle Manager, Reefer Manager
Drivers > Driver Manager > General Settings > Alerting
Jobs > Job Manager > General Settings > Alerting

You can enable alerts within as many Manager modules as you need. Permissions requirements apply. Note the following for additional alerting options:
Within General Settings, you can also set alerts for particular Location Groups and Driver Groups by selecting:
Location Manager > General Settings > Location Group > Selected Location > Edit
β Location Group
Driver Manager > General Settings > Groups > Selected Group > Edit Driver Group
The Alerting tab is available outside of General Settings. For example, you can apply alert plans to particular fleets, vehicles, reefers, drivers, devices, and locations (geofences) through the Edit ... button within a given Manager module.
2. Select Add Alert Plan.
An Add Alert Plan window opens. The following image shows the window for Vehicle Manager.
Tracking Page alerts do not apply to Service Manager. The Tracking Page > Popup option centers the Tracking map on a vehicle when it incurs an alert event and displays a popup alert notification.
3. In the Alert Plan Name field, enter a unique name for this alert plan.
Service Manager alerting includes a Service Plan dropdown, where you can select a particular service plan you want the alerts to apply to. Reefer Manager alerting includes a Fleet dropdown to select a particular fleet.
4. In the General Alerting list, for each alert event you choose, select the notification option(s) you would like to use to receive alerts.
5. Under Alerting Hours, select Always On or Specific Hours.
If you select Specific Hours, use the dropdowns to select Start and Finish times throughout the week. The default is Always On.
6. If you checked Email or SMS for any alert events, under Notification, select Email Recipient(s) or Sms Recipients(s), respectively.
The Select Recipient(s) dialog opens, where you select recipients from the list of 360 users and add them to the To field. Select OK when done.
7. Select Save.
Alert notifications are now enabled for the selected Manager module. Repeat this process for other Manager modules.
